Yesterday, thanks to a generous predictor, we found photos of a new Ford Mustang Bullitt. Ford’s PR team did not comment, but given the production preparation of the car, we would not be surprised if the Bullitt Mustang were presented at the Detroit Auto Show next month. But thanks to some pictures posted in a forum by fans, it is possible that Bullitt will join another Mustang: the new 2019 Ford Mustang.
As expected from a Mustang with the GT500 badge, the latest muscle car from Ford is a more aggressive version of the GT350 style. It is currently not visible because the prototype is camouflaged on the teeth, but Ford will certainly launch a unique aerodynamic package on the market. Although it will rent some body parts of the GT350, the 2019 Ford Mustang has some of its own features. For one thing, we know for sure that the strong coupe over the trunk lid has a larger fixed wing. This feature does not exist in the last test formula, but we have seen it in earlier prototypes, with a new bumper as a solid partition.
The interior of the 2019 Ford Mustang is a complete mystery at the time of writing, but logic dictates it will be based on the GT350. It remains recognizable as a Mustang and uses a similar panel, door panels and center console. But you get a lot of unique features. Although the steering wheel is likely to come off the GT350, gauges have been set on the dashboard while the information and entertainment screen is updated accordingly. Look for ‘Mustang’ badges, unique covers with contrast stitching and sports seats. Traditionally, the 2019 Ford Mustang has never been more lane-oriented than the GT350, implying that the new model is likely to have comfort features that are not available in the standard version of the GT350. The list includes air conditioning, a sound system, rear seats and a rear view camera.
In terms of the power of the new 2019 Ford Mustang, it really depends on Ford’s willingness to position it. One has to assume that he will surpass the GT350 and its 526 hp. To get the Camaro ZL1, the 2019 Ford Mustang requires at least 650 hp. On the other hand, Ford can also target the 707 hp Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Mustang 6G has even heard rumor that the 2019 Ford Mustang could deliver more than 800 horsepower. As crazy as it may be, Hennessey is already offering a supercharged upgrade for the GT350, which offers 858 hp and 673 lb-ft of torque (Dodge Demon outperforms).
Of course, it’s still too early to talk about prices, but the 2019 Ford Mustang could be the most expensive version of the Mustang’s sixth generation, costing around $ 70,000. It is also said that Ford plans to build in limited quantities, which could result in inappropriate rates for the dealer.
