Maybe a new level of equipment to commemorate the last model year before this popular, compact crossover SUV is completely redesigned. Expect a brand new 2019 Ford Escape for the model year with fresh styling and slightly larger dimensions. Thus, the issue of 2019 remains a lame duck, showing their age against top rivals in this brand-new market segment. Ford will not be able to change the obvious shortcomings of the current Escape, such as the back seat in space. However, we urge the car manufacturer to improve Escape’s security features for 2019, primarily by upgrading the autonomous emergency braking system with the ability to stop, not just slow, the crossover to reduce a head-on collision.
The already fresh exterior of the 2019 Ford Escape receives even more refreshments. The changes are not that important, but certainly visible. From now on, the front bumper has a large recess and two faux openings. These openings are located on the sides of the bumper, closer to the fog lights. The entire styling is now much sharper, especially the front. The hexagonal grid looks great, along with the LED headlights. In addition, the 2019 Ford Escape has larger air intakes and the hood suffers from additional aluminum work. The next equipment variant is SE and offers a Sport Appearance Package as an option. This package features halogen headlights and blackout accents that make the new 2019 Ford Escape look sporty. The same package also adds a 19-inch Ebony Wheel Black. Back to the basic model, the Blue Oval touring coach introduces a range of new exterior colors. A blue metallic and cinnamon glaze are the two most recent exterior colors. The rear gets a new pair of taillights and the exhaust ends are now slightly below the rear bumper.
The interior of the all-new 2019 Ford Escape looks more elegant than the current model. The car manufacturer Blue Oval tries to improve all categories of this crossover, including the interior. The cabin still has room for five passengers and the arrangement of controls and seats is retained. However, the layout is amazing, so this compact crossover SUV has ample legroom. The biggest change is a new dashboard. The new dashboard looks stylish because it has a completely different design that looks more modern. The information display is located next to the analog meters and the infotainment touchscreen is larger when in the middle stack. In addition, the latest SYNC3 system is up to date and works great. This system is so easy to use and has a much better user interface that is very user friendly. Including the air conditioning is very easy and further down, USB ports are offered as standard. A few storage compartments in the center console are just as standard as the cup holders. The cabin space is generous for such a compact model and the cargo space is above average for the segment.
The rental-oriented S should return for 2019 Ford Escape with a harsh and oppressive atmospheric 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 168 hp and a torque of 170 pounds. Look for SE and SEL to replicate a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 180 horsepower and 185 pound-foot torque. It provides an acceleration that is more than sufficient if it is not far from cruelty. Fitting to be exclusive to the Titan again is a Turbo 2.0 with 245 horses and 275 pound-foot torque. It must once again be one of the more powerful engines of the competition, with a spirited nature that underscores Escape’s impressive roadholding.
The upcoming 2019 Ford Escape will cost $ 32,000. For comparison, the base price of Escape is $ 25,000, and the Titanium feature value starts at $ 35,000. Mathematics is easy here because Blue Oval said that the 2019 Ford Escape variant costs about $ 10,000 more than the base model.
